We strive to provide our employees with an experience, focused on supporting their physical, financial, and emotional wellbeing.Join the Johnson Controls family and thrive in a culture that values your voice and ideas.Your next incredible opportunity is just a few clicks away!Here's what we have to offerCompetitive payPaid vacation, holidays, and sick timeComprehensive benefits package, including 401K, medical, dental, and vision care - available from day oneExtensive product and on-the-job/cross-training opportunities, supported by our outstanding internal resourcesEncouraging and collaborative team environmentDedication to safety through our Zero Harm policyCompany vehicle, tools, and equipment provided to complete all jobsScheduling and management supportJCI Employee discount programs (The Loop by Perk Spot)What you will doFire Sprinkler Inspectors are responsible for the testing and documenting the results of fire protection systems according to NFPA standards.How you will do itResponsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality inspections.Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, and preventative maintenance on water based systems and/or sprinkler systems.Learn to complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices, such as laptop computers and/or hard copy.Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule.Input, retrieve and archive inspection documentation program via the laptop computer.Complete assigned inspections on time.Perform other duties as assigned.What we look forRequired1-3 years of experience with sprinkler systemsNICET II Certification or the ability to acquire within 2 years of employmentExperience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specificationsAble to read and interpret technical and parts manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.Must be able to follow verbal and written instructionsMust be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 poundsMust be able to work on lifts and laddersMust have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirementsMust be available to participate in a scheduled after hours on-call rotationAble to pass a pre-employment background and drug testAbility to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $13.46 - $21.15 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data.)
