Labor & Delivery Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 34 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience. • Travel experience is required from any number of months. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. Additional Details: RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only). Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekends and Holiday as needed. Floating Requirements: Post partum / Antepartum - may float to sister facilities that do Mother/Baby. Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Midwifery clients, private OBs, Adult Recovery Services supporting substance recovery, Community care clinics as well, Need high risk experience and able to work in fast paced, high acuity environments, Circulate Preferred Skills/Experience: 5 Years Of High Risk Experience But Will Consider Candidates With 3 Years Or More Experience As Long As They Have High Risk Experience Unit Details: Avg Daily Census 15/day; 500-600 deliveries/month, Beds 31 Types of Patients on Unit: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults Previous Employment Requirements: Perm Candidates Of Any Other Providence Facility ( Non Swedish ) Are Eligible For A Travel Contract If They Have Been Separated For At Least 3 Months. Transportation: Clinician must have reliable transportation; travel pairs require separate vehicles. Housing: IF applicable - Clinician should secure housing before accepting and be aware of local cost of living.
