Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 4 years. • Travel experience is required from any number of months. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Annual Skills Checklist is required for submission and can’t expire during the expected contract dates. Required Skills/Experience: RNs required to titrate drips: Vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, antiarrhythmics RNs need to be able to read and interpret Required Credentials: RN’s - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated. Types of Patients on Unit: Adults and Peds >15 years old. Various Trauma injuries (only level 1 trauma center for the system, take in a lot of transfers and/or ED admits), Sepsis, stroke, ARDS, MODS, COPD, cardiac arrest. CVPs, IABP and Impella-core staff will take if no exp; Alines, Swans, EV-1000, ICP monitoring- all can train real time. Zoll-Thermoguard for hypothermia protocol, Bell Mont rapid transfuse. Unit Details: Beds: 18 Nurse Patient Ratios: 1:1-2 ICU, 1:4 PCU Previous Employment Requirements: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period Floating Requirements: All over to the inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU 7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1.
