TICU RN - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 4 years. • Travel experience is required from any number of months. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Required Skills/Experience: RNs required to titrate drips: Vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, antiarrhythmics RNs need to be able to read and interpret Required Credentials: RN’s - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated. Types of Patients on Unit: Adults and Peds >15 years old. Various Trauma injuries (only level 1 trauma center for the system, take in a lot of transfers and/or ED admits), Sepsis, stroke, ARDS, MODS, COPD, cardiac arrest. CVPs, IABP and Impella-core staff will take if no exp; Alines, Swans, EV-1000, ICP monitoring- all can train real time. Zoll-Thermoguard for hypothermia protocol, Bell Mont rapid transfuse. Unit Details: Beds: 18 Nurse Patient Ratios: 1:1-2 ICU, 1:4 PCU Previous Employment Requirements: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period Floating Requirements: All over to the inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU 7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1.
