Position Title: Maintenance Technician Wage: $25.00 - $35.00/hour Shift: 2nd or 3rd Manufacturing medical and pharmaceutical packaging for companies around the world, our client aims to deliver better patient outcomes by manufacturing products that allow for less invasive procedures, reduced pain, faster healing, and safer drug delivery. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Perform electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on manufacturing or plant equipment - Adhere to standard safety practices, including wearing personal protective equipment as required - Read blueprints, understand plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems - Follow plant preventative maintenance procedures - Attend and participate in maintenance department, plant and safety meetings - Assist in capital improvement projects - Make repairs in a timely manner, while working under pressure - Perform data entry and analysis of Maintenance Management System Requirements for Maintenance Technician: - 3-5 years of work related experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical fields - Experience with basic electrical systems (starters, fuses, contacts, relays) - Experience with product manuals (reading and applying knowledge to make repairs) - Experience with schematics (electrical blueprints with switches, starters, maps, and relays) - Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns - Experience with reading mechanical drawings - Ability to communicate issues while also conveying solutions - Willing to extend your scheduled shifts in order to receive onsite or offsite training - Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing environment - Basic shop skills that include welding / metal fabrication IND999 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
