Maintenance Mechanic – 2nd ShiftLocation: York, PASchedule: MondayPay: Starting at $26.27 - $31.18 + ($1.50 Shift Premium)About the Role:We are looking for a dependable and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support our operations by maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical and electrical background who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced industrial environment.Key Responsibilities:Inspect, test, and troubleshoot machinery and equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issuesInstall and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systemsPerform welding, torch cutting, and fabrication tasksOperate machine tools to fabricate or repair partsConduct preventive maintenance and safety inspectionsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsMaintain facility structures, fixtures, and toolsOperate forklifts and other maintenance-related equipmentEnsure compliance with all safety and environmental regulationsQualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems, mechanical repairs, welding, or general maintenanceRequires a high school diploma/GED and previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety proceduresProficient in using measurement tools and diagnosing technical issuesStrong communication and problem-solving skillsBasic PC knowledge preferredCertifications & Licenses:Forklift license (must be obtained within 3 months of hire)Certifications in electrical work, welding, or related fields are a plusWork Environment:Industrial setting with moderate noise levelsExposure to mechanical and electrical systems and toolsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 poundsRegular use of hands and tools; occasional standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, or crouchingVisual acuity for close work and focus adjustmentsWhy Join Us?This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team that values technical skill, safety, and continuous improvement.
