Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience within the past 4 years. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Annual Skills Checklist is required for submission and can’t expire during the expected contract dates. Required Skills/Experience: RNs required to titrate drips: heparin, lidocaine, TPN gtt. Required Credentials: RN’s - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated. Types of Patients on Unit: Medical/Surgical, with specialty in post op cancer intervention (prostatectomy, mastectomy, etc). Unit Details: Beds 32 Previous Employment Requirements: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. Shift & Scheduling: Every 3rd weekend and rotating holiday required. Floating Requirements: Rare, if needed only to other medical/surgical unit. Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: Please request an interview for one match from this facility at a time. You will not interview with the hiring manager if the facility chooses to extend an offer to you for this position. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
