This position involves conducting in-depth pricing analysis, modeling scenarios, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure pricing aligns with business goals and market conditions. Furthermore, the Manager, Pricing Strategy applies detailed cost estimation techniques to assess project feasibility, prepare bids, and support business development, client services and operations teams with data-driven forecasts. Their work ensures financial accuracy, enhances competitiveness, and contributes to the overall growth, profitability and success of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of the Internet Pricing Application to support the business development team on timely and accurate prospective client quotes.Evaluate and recommend improvements to modernize pricing application and evolve to a more dynamic solution for internal clients.Maintain a current and working knowledge of external market forces and internal cost history to create accurate models for forecasting the financial impact of individual projects and large-scale programs.Assist the business development team with requirements for Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP).Ensure the business development team is fully equipped for client interaction with a working knowledge of all aspects of the pricing methodology used, and the corresponding plan of execution.Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services.Review and evaluate alternative pricing models to determine process improvements and efficiencies.Develop enhanced reporting to track pricing actuals vs. initial projections, as well as bid awards and missed opportunities, to better inform future opportunities.Provide analytical support to evaluate pricing scenarios and margin impact.Compile detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and third-party services by considering market trends and historical data. Keep an up-to-date database of costs and historical project data to support future estimates and track project performance.
