Our client, A Manufacturing company is seeking a Technical Service Specialist / Automotive Paint Technical Specialist to join their team. Title: Technical Service Specialist / Automotive Paint Technical Specialist Location:   Toledo OH 43608  Duration: 12+ Months   Pay Range: $25-28/HR on W2 Schedule: 1st shift, 40 hours/week, M-F Summary of key duties and responsibilities: The Technical Service Representative is responsible for the effective and efficient performance of PPG products for the customer. The incumbent will monitor systems and processes, data collection and maintenance, use of color and appearance instrumentation, paint film measurements, perform vehicle audits, initiate problem solving resolutions, and effectively communicate with all levels in both the Client and customer organizations. Work Environment: The incumbent will provide technical sales and service support to the customer in an automotive assembly plant environment in Toledo, Ohio. Functional / Technical Skills: 3-5 years in a technical setting or automotive assembly plant environment. Good written and oral communication skills. Waterborne basecoat, Solventborne clearcoat, Powder, and Electrocoat technology experience preferred. Strong computer skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail are required. Educational or Required Work Experience: Required: High school degree and related work experience. Desired: College degree in chemistry, general science, or a related discipline.
