If you have low-voltage experience, love working with your hands, and are looking for your next career move, apply now.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated Entry Level Toll Equipment Technician for a full-time position located in Miami/Doral, FL. This role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting toll equipment systems. An initial training period will be from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, after which the regular schedule will be Monday through Thursday, 2 pm to 1 am.What You'll Do:Read and interpret complex schematics, parts/wiring diagrams, and establish test proceduresFollow written and verbal instructions accuratelyUtilize tools such as volt/amp meters and basic hand toolsRecognize electronic components and their functionsCommunicate effectively in both oral and written formsWork safely at heights up to thirty (30) feet and lift up to fifty (50) poundsPerform preventative maintenance and frequent inspection of equipmentComplete maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely mannerCoordinate with senior technicians for complex malfunctionsRemove, repair, and replace damaged equipmentAssist with the installation and testing of equipment at new and existing tolling sitesPerform additional duties as requiredWhat You'll NeedValid Class E Driver’s LicenseKnowledge of electronic systems and componentsSkilled in the use of technical tools and software environments (Windows, Unix, Linux)Ability to read and comprehend technical and maintenance documentationExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to manage time effectively and work independentlyCOMPTIA A+ Training or equivalent within one year of hireAerial Lift Vehicle Operation CertificationIntermediate Maintenance of Traffic CertificationCompletion of a 10-hour OSHA Safety CoursePhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorThe pay for this position is $23.00 per hour (USD).
