Job Description

Maintain Massachusetts Journeyman electrician’s license. Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on electrical and related equipment. Complete work orders, installations and projects as assigned. Assist Millwrights/Mechanics with mechanical Preventive and Corrective Maintenance. Calibrate, repair, and keep in good working order the instrumentation equipment. Assist with maintenance of the spare parts inventory. Participate in the day-to-day compliance with Food Safety, 5S and Pre-requisite programs. Maintain a clean work area. Utilize computer for communication, calibrations records and work order details. Troubleshooting PLC program logic and industrial motor drive systems. (Will train as needed) All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS / JOB REQUIREMENTS: 4 years' as an apprentice and at least 1 as a journeyman. Industrial electrical experience with web-based machines recommended.  Able to work independently and/or as part of a team, effectively communicate, get along with others, have a positive attitude and be well organized.  Have basic computer knowledge. PLC ladder logic programming and or Drive systems a plus. Coverage for other team members vacation/days off. EDUCATION: Current Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician’s License.
