Aspire Bakeries champions the values of Integrity, Ownership, Customer Focus, Creativity and Care to help us deliver on People Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Collaboration.     Position Purpose The incumbent will schedule work orders in a seamless way to maximize productivity and achieve company goals.   Key Accountabilities The Maintenance Analyst is responsible for the execution of all activities deployed from the Maintenance department, which include both scheduled and unscheduled work orders. It also requires scheduling and coordination of departmental materials and resources. Interacts with departments to achieve company goals.   Responsibilities Meets with appropriate departments involved with weekly production schedules and generates department schedule based on production and maintenance requirements.  Schedules contractor(s) for equipment repairs/rebuild work. Maintains electronic and hard copy records of completed maintenance activities as generated by the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Directs Stock Room Administrator and Purchasing Specialist to insure materials are available as needed. Manages, mentors, and motivates direct reports, providing training and development to optimize their performance and personal growth. Communicates performance standards and expectations to employees, recognizing and rewarding individual and team accomplishments and counseling performance problems. Manage the maintenance work order backlog. Writes and maintains standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for the maintenance department. Works with Maintenance Administrative Assistant to provide Maintenance and Engineering Manager with the necessary reports. Discusses major projects with Director of Engineering. Ensures that plant facilities are maintained in accordance with relevant regulations, company and regulatory standards and fiscal consideration. Estimates costs of personnel, parts, and supplies to be used during weekly scheduled maintenance and during scheduled shutdown. Assists in preparing major equipment bids, and recommends purchases when replacement or new equipment is required.  Represents the company's position and interests in dealing with outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants. Keeps abreast of latest manufacturing technologies and systems and engineering concepts to continually improve plant performance. Performs other duties as required. Works to maintain and improve on the quality, legality and safety of each product and the processes used in their manufacture. Responsible for keeping assigned work area clean and tidy at all times and reporting any potential contamination and suspicious activity to a Supervisor immediately.   Skills, Experience & Qualifications   Analytical - Uses intuition and experience to complement data. Managing People - Includes staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement; takes responsibility for subordinates' activities; makes self-available to staff; provides regular performance feedback; improves processes, products and services; continually works to improve supervisory skills.   Education, Technical Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Proficiency Level   Required High School degree or General Equivalency Diploma (GED); Bachelor’s of Arts /Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering or related field preferred. Three (3) years supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment. Math Ability - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret graphs and diagrams preferred.  Demonstrated ability to formulate and understand complex mathematical equations. Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Demonstrated knowledge and application of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Demonstrated knowledge and application of preventative maintenance techniques/scheduling and safety management. Working knowledge of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation processes/procedures and hazard analysis critical control points (HACCP). Demonstrated knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations to include product and employee safety, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) standards, product quality, and cost controls. Demonstrated ability to direct, coach, and train associates as well as plan, monitor and schedule work. Ability to read and interpret work orders, operating manuals and maintenance instructions.  Ability to complete forms detailing maintenance work performed. Oral Communication - Listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; participates in meetings. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Windows; MS Access Database software, MS Word Processing software; MS Excel Spreadsheet software; MS Outlook; Crystal Report Writer; Internet software; CMMS software; Barcode Software.
