Warehouse Associate

Location: Gordonsville Employment Status: Hourly Full-Time  Internal Candidate Eligibility Criteria: 1. Is a Lincoln Electric employee with at least 1 year of service 2. Is NOT on an active Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)   ​ Job Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:   Trained to pick, pack and process customer orders. Loads and unloads trucks as needed. Operates all machinery required to do the job in accordance with established safety procedures. Inspects machinery prior to use and changes batteries as needed Completes Hazmat paperwork if applicable. Maintains packaging supplies for packing area. Assists in keeping the warehouse area neat and orderly. May be cross-trained in other Warehouse functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   Education and/or Experience                                                   High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Language Skills                                                   Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.   Mathematical Skills                                             Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.   Reasoning Ability                                                Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
