When hospitals cannot provide the advanced care, expertise and new treatment options for the patients require, they turn to Hartford Hospital.Advanced Practitioner Role Scope    Provides holistic, quality and cost-effective care for women, and participates in the medical management of patients, to achieve or maintain optimal health status, manage disease and reduce risk of illness.   Engages in independent decision-making regarding the health care of women across the lifespan and across the health care continuum.     Practices within a health care system that allows medical consultation, collaborative management and referral health care of women, i.e. obstetrics (antepartum, triage, labor, delivery and postpartum), and family planning.
