Orchard Park is growing and our memory care is in need of an energetic, positive, and uplifting Activities Coordinator. Job Description The Activities Coordinator plans and coordinates a variety of programs to provide a vibrant and engaging life for our Memory Care residents. Duties and responsibilities: Determine resident program preferences, talents, and needs through resident feedback, new resident orientation, and communication with resident families. Plan daily and weekly programs to engage residents to meet their social, physical, emotional, and psychological needs. Assist in planning programs and events that encourage prospective residents to participate in community life and see the value and benefit our community can offer them. Lead activities and plan and execute a vibrant monthly community event. Create monthly activity calendar and newsletter Expected to post to social media (Facebook, Lifeloop, etc) at a minimum of 4 times per week of residents engaging in activities in a social setting. Lead individual resident programming  Volunteer recruitment Qualifications Activity Director Certification a plus! 2+ years of activity programming experience 1+ years of leadership experience, in senior living preferred Comfortable learning new apps & various programs Valid driver's license is REQUIRED - will need to drive community bus to take residents to appointments/outings Must be 25 years old or older to be covered under Stellar's auto insurance Event planning/organization A love for seniors!
