Application Deadline:10/10/2025Address:320 S Canal StreetJob Family Group:Finance & AccountingAs a manager you are expected to lead meetings to walk through results for P&BB overall results and by segment (i.e., unusual variances, etc). Ensuring that entries are timely and compliant, mitigating risks, and supporting customers on system changes. In this role you will be expected to explain variations in accounts and work with business controller and auditors on process improvements and new product and strategic initiatives. Essential Responsibilities:Ensure the accuracy of the organization’s financial results by recognizing and preventing misrepresentation, concealment, or omission of informationPerform monthly balance sheet analyses and cash forecastsAssess processes and evaluate/ensure compliance and controls associated with account reconciliationsDevelop and maintain relationships with Business Controller and other stakeholders in order to implement process improvementsInterface with auditors regarding account reconciliations and control processesIdentify new accounting standards applicable to the business and develop appropriate implementation strategySpecial projects as needed to enhance business compliance and controllershipQualifications/Requirements:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in accounting or financeMinimum 5 years work experience in accounting or finance positionDesired Characteristics:Certified Public Accountant or Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferredDemonstrated financial analysis skills Experience in solving complex problemsExperience with driving process improvementsAbility to deal effectively with changing priorities in a diverse organizationSelf-starter/team playerExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and WordCollaboration & team skills - In-depth.Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth.Influence skills - In-depth.Data driven decision making - In-depth.Salary:$74,000.00 - $138,000.00Pay Type: SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
