This position supervises Sherwin-Williams Delivery Service Drivers for the West Texas and El Paso markets. Delivery Service Drivers are responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores and branches. Supervisors provide direct management of drivers and leads and are accountable for fostering a team environment through effective and appropriate communication. They are responsible for maintaining all standards in accordance with safety, quality, inventory, and productivity levels as well as providing leadership to meet SWDS goals and objectives. The individual selected for this role will be expected to report to the West Texas District Office at 4630 50th St., Lubbock, TX 79414. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Please be aware, Sherwin-Williams recruiting team members will never request a candidate to provide a payment, ask for financial information, or sensitive personal information like national identification numbers, date of birth, or bank account numbers during the application process.Implement and enforce company policies and procedures including safety and complianceOversee SWDS operations though frequent travel to Sherwin-Williams store locations, delivery vehicle parking terminals, District office(s) and customer job site locationsEnsure effective and safe use of warehouse equipmentMonitor telematics, fleet, and delivery reporting to ensure safe driving, effective vehicle maintenance, and operational efficiencyProactively seek delivery experience feedback from drivers, Sherwin-Williams store employees, and external customersSuggest corrective action as needed and partner with Area-level, District-level, Fleet, Safety and Sherwin-Williams Delivery Service Operations to resolve issues promptlyPlan and communicate driver work schedules Interview and select qualified candidatesManage employee training, development, performance management, and corrective actionConduct regular communication meetings with driver team including driver start up meetings and drive alongMinimum Requirements:Must be at least 21 years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust have a valid, unrestricted driver’s licenseMust have at least a High School diploma or GEDMust have at least two (2) years of work experience in transportation, logistics and/or delivery Preferred Qualifications:Have a valid, unrestricted Commercial Driver’s License (“CDL”)Have at least two (2) years of experience working in the Sherwin-Williams Delivery Service Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or OperationsHave at least one (1) year of work experience operating mobile power equipment such as lift trucks, tow motors or pallet handling equipment, order pickers, high lifts, forklifts, or cherry pickersHave at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teamsHave completed formal training in and/or have at least one (1) year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.Have prior work experience using transportation management systems (such as, Descartes Route Planner and MobileLink, GeoTab, Glympse)Have at least one (1) year of work experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and/or Outlook)#SWDS
