Production Supervisor Intern

The Production Supervisor Intern directs the daily operations of a production team operating on a rotating 2-shift schedule. Responsible for leading teams in the various processes of the production of corrugated containers in a safe, cost effective manner, while ensuring that product meets all customer and company standards. Job duties include but not limited to: Ensure crew safety and compliance with plant rules and policies.  Solve production issues and optimize machine efficiency.  Engage crews in streamlining daily processes.  Act as a key communicator between employees and management.  Prioritize jobs, workflow, and crew assignments and production planning.   Requirements:  Pursuing degree in packaging, manufacturing, engineering or business-related field  Must be a self-starter  Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) Strong problem solving and analytical skills Demonstrated leadership skills Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
