About the Role: The Project Controls Manager, T&D serves as a strategic partner in schedule management, cost controls, and the implementation of project management best practices. In addition to creating and maintaining project schedules, the Project Controls Mgr T&D is responsible for providing oversight to subsidiaries with project scheduling, controls, mentorship, and training. Essential FunctionsStrategic Program & Portfolio ManagementDevelop and implement enterprise-wide project controls and scheduling training and frameworks to ensure consistency, predictability, and scalability across T&D projectsScheduling Program Best PracticesProvide strategic guidance to project managers, schedulers and controls, supporting teams to optimizing schedulesCreate, update, and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools, ensuring integration with cost and resource plansLead project teams with schedule development, logic sequencing, resource loading, and critical path analysisDesign training programs on schedule management tools and methodologiesLead training for project managers, superintendents, and field leaders on schedule development, tracking, and forecastingPerform periodic schedule audits to ensure consistency and accuracy across projectsEvaluate schedule performance and provide recovery strategies when delays or risks are identifiedProject Controls & Project Management Best PracticesLead the implementation of standardized processes for cost tracking, forecasting, and change controlsDevelop and maintain financial controls for projectsMentor teams on scheduling and controls best practicesConduct post-project reviews and lessons learned to improve future executionCollaborate with field and office teams to ensure proper documentation, reporting, and visibility into project performanceRegular and predictable attendanceOther duties as assignedUnderstand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards About You: Qualifications7+ years of progressively responsible experience in project controls, scheduling, and program management within the construction industry (electrical construction preferred)Experience with enterprise platforms such as Procore, JD Edwards, or similar ERP systemsExperience supporting a diverse portfolio of concurrent transmission and distribution projects is preferredPreferred EducationBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degreeKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesProficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and CPM scheduling toolsStrong knowledge of cost management, earned value analysis, and project forecastingStrong verbal and written communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skillsWillingness and ability to travel 25–50% to project sites and regional offices What We Offer: Compensation & BenefitsSalary $72,910-$135,404/ yearCommensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
