PurposeThe Senior Technical Project Manager – Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems leads the implementation of large-scale enterprise application projects, preferably Out-of-Box Cloud Solutions. This role focuses on the project management functions of implementing ERP applications such as Finance, HCM/Payroll, Supply Chain, and CRM. The position requires a strong PM practitioner with deep experience in both Waterfall/SDLC and Agile/Iterative methodologies.ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:Leads project planning and coordination of ERP implementations including configuration management, role-based security, data conversions, integrations, reporting tools, licensing, tenant and release management, testing, training, and change management.Manages hybrid project methodologies including Waterfall/SDLC and Agile/Iterative approaches.Engages stakeholders and end users through governance, training, and change management.Coordinates cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure project alignment and delivery.Ensures technical and operational readiness including testing, cutover, and post-implementation support.Marginal or Periodic Functions: Participates in strategic planning and budgeting cycles.Supports internal audits and compliance reviews.Assists in vendor selection and RFP processes.Conducts training on project management tools and methodologies.Represents IT in cross-departmental committees.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Project Management: Skilled at planning, organizing, and executing projects from vision through implementation.Decision Quality: Makes sound decisions based on analysis, experience, and judgment.Dealing with Ambiguity: Effectively copes with change and uncertainty.Stakeholder Focus: Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Political Savvy: Understands organizational dynamics and navigates them effectively.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldMinimum 7 years of experience as a Project ManagerEquivalent education or experience may be substitutedRelevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:Required: PMP (Project Management Professional)Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, or related fieldExperience in Healthcare or Higher EducationFamiliarity with Workday, PeopleSoft/Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:Preferred:​ PMI-ACP, ITIL Foundation, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)Salary Range$110,000 + depending on qualificationsWorking ConditionsStandard office equipmentRepetitive use of a keyboardMay be exposed to such occupational hazards as communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, hazardous medications and disoriented or combative patients, or others.Required MaterialsResume/CV3 work references with their contact information; at least one reference should be from a supervisorLetter of interestImportant for applicants who are NOT current university employees or contingent workers: You will be prompted to submit your resume the first time you apply, then you will be provided an option to upload a new Resume for subsequent applications.
