Safety Intern

Research intern topics: Conduct in-depth research on various safety and health related subjects pertinent to the company's operations.  Audit facility practices for compliance: Regularly inspect facilities and practices to ensure they comply with safety policies and regulations.  Review and develop safety policies and training programs: Evaluate existing safety and health policies, create new ones, and develop training programs to address programs to address safety training needs.  Investigate safety incidents and assist in corrective action plans: Work with the management team to determine the root cause of safety incidents and develop action plans to eliminate hazards.  Promote safety awareness and ensure compliance with safety programs: Increase safety and health awareness through memos, postings, training programs, and ensure adherence to PPE, Food Safety, and other regulations.  Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
