Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience. • 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Skills required: ICU: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, Vent management, invasive line management, ostomy, general drains, trachs Required Credentials: If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations. Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Respiratory Failure, GI Bleeds, DKA, Sepsis, Complicated Post-operative Patients, CVA’s, Flap surgeries, Post-Arrest, ETOH, IVDA Higher Level Therapies: Rotoprone, Manual Prone, Hypothermia Protocol, CRRT, TPA, Flap Surgeries (will not take these patients) No craniotomies, major traumas, or major cardiothoracic Equipment Used on Unit: IV Pump: Alaris Technology Used on Unit: Med dispensing: Pyxis Unit/Facility Details: ICU: 14 beds Level III Trauma Center Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes Special Requests: Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will not be considered. If requesting time off, must be willing to add to the end of the assignment Shift & Scheduling: MultiCare includes the expected start date they prefer on their job postings. Please keep this in mind when listing your start date availability! If you can start on the day they are requesting, you are more likely to be selected for an interview or offer. Ask if interested in 48 hour contract Must be on time to the correct unit by 0700 or 1900 Weekends will vary depending on the needs of the unit.
