Overview: Schedule:  Full-time, 40 hours. Flex start times, pre/post hours range from a start time bewteen 5:30A-7:30A & leaving between 2-4PM, will be discussed further during interview. This center is closed on weekends and major holidays, no call required.Department: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and pre-op. Employee will be cross trained to each phase of care.Requirements: Either prior PACU, pre-op, ICU, ED or Critical Care or experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Prior IV experience is required for pre/post. Location:7210 Village Medical Circle, Clemmons, North CarolinaInformation: This is an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), there are 3 OR's and a total of 16 pre/post bays. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Experience: One year of ASC, PACU or operating room experience, preferred.Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.ACLS and PALS, preferred.Additional Skills Required: Must have a thorough understanding of role of RN and ability to carry out the functions as stated in the NC nurse practice act. Ability to set priorities and organize workload of unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient’s age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Proficient in telephone screening and interviewing skills.
