THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION WITH APPROXIMATE WORK HOURS OF 3 PM TO 12 AM. Serve as subject matter expert for food safety and quality assurance. Ensure adherence to safe food handling practices and regulatory compliance, while producing quality products. Assist in improvement opportunities with Food Safety Technicians. Gain knowledge, training and certification for required third party audits (BRC, Animal Welfare, HACCP, etc.). Produce and distribute production reports as requested. Assist to ensure regulatory programs are implemented and followed as intended. Perform record and document reviews, ensuring completion and accuracy. All other relevant duties as required. Bachelor degree in Food, Animal, Poultry Science or other closely related field of study preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent computer, math, and analytical skills. Detail oriented and organized.
