Position Title: Process Technician Salary: $72,800/year Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday Our partners in Liberty, MO are expanding their team by adding in a Process Technician! Process Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Support builds by validating process readiness, machinery, tooling, and documentation - Validate cycle times and Takt time alignment for new processes and engineering scope changes - Deploy and Coordinate Engineering and Process Changes with line support staff - Ensure proper Material Routing and generation of Visual Work Instructions - Assist in the implementation of machinery and equipment, including documentation, handover, and issue closure - Participate daily in Gemba walks and escalate build-impacting issues - Support pilot builds and contributes to report generation and data analysis - Facilitate drawings, deviation, VWIs, and documentation needed for pilot build support - Set up machinery and equipment for new builds - Generate hardware list and validate availability with supplier in preparation for pilot builds - Execute BOMs validation, CV scans setup and material routings - Conduct time and motion studies based on Lean standard work - Perform line balancing and labor calculation - Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput - Validate and document downtime generated by builds - Drive process improvements in coordination with line support staff Process Technician Requirements: - Holds a 2-year or complete degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing, or related discipline); applicants currently pursuing their degree in these fields are also encouraged to apply - Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo preferred - Proficiency in computer operating systems - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - Effective communication and organizational skills - Conversational English required - Strong leadership and personnel management skills - Ability to work independently and under pressure QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
