Dietary Supervisor

St. Patrick's Home Rehabilitation and Health Care is actively seeking a Dietary Supervisor to work Per-Diem for our Skilled Nursing Facility in the Bronx, NY.DUTIES and REQUIREMENTS:Supervises employees engaged in serving food nursing home and in maintaining cleanliness of food service areas and equipment: Trains workers in performance of dutiesAssigns and coordinates work of employees to promote efficiency of operationsSupervises serving of mealsInspects kitchen and dining areas and kitchen utensils and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are metKeeps records, such as amount and cost of meals served and hours worked by employeesRequisitions and inspects foodstuffs, supplies, and equipment to maintain stock levels and ensure standards of quality are metPrepares work schedules and evaluates work performance of employeesMay direct preparation of foods and beveragesMay assist Dietitian and clinical staff in planning menusMay interview, select, or hire new employeesWhen supervising workers engaged in tray assembly, may be designated Tray-Line SupervisorAbout Us:St. Patrick's Home is a Faith-Based facility located in the northwest section of the Bronx, bordering scenic Van Cortlandt Park.
