Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required from last 12 months. • Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months. • 3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Preferred Skills/Experience: Background in post op surgical areas (i.e. vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery, colorectal, and general surgery). Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Maintenance of post op surgical procedure sites · Wound care i.e. packing, dressing changes, wound vac maintenance · Foley Catheter care- Continuous bladder irrigation · Ostomy appliance changed and maintenance · Nasogastric Tube insertion and suction · TPN · Blood Administration · Central Line Care and dressing changes · Bedside Shift Report Equipment Used on Unit: Bariatric fitted ADLs, Wound Vacs, Drains, Lifts. Special Requests: No Block Scheduling requests. Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility. Floating Requirements: Medical-Surgical Units.
