The department intern will be responsible for all assigned work, projects and all other duties as assigned by the manager. Each participating department should provide intern with a detailed list of these responsibilities. If the intern is participating in the company-wide summer internship program, the intern will be required to participate in all activities and to participate in the final presentation at the end of the program. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKSAssist in performing maintenance, consolidation and update of hard files & recordsAssist with updating & improving project & portfolio reportsAssist with creating & delivering market surveys which incorporate broker-provided and Encompass-provided dataAssist with valuation requests and preparationAssist with site selection initiatives & market tours (day travel only) on as-needed basisAssist with responding to inter-department and third party requests for informationAssist with project research and close-outResearch and coordinate special projects as deemed appropriateComplete all task and assignments accurately and timelyProactively seeks to learn about the company and the departmentParticipates in all intern specific activities (if applicable)Create and present presentation on job skills learned (if applicable)Minimum Qualifications:Must be actively enrolled in a college or university (Junior/Senior level students are preferred)Class experience in prospective field is preferredIntermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office SuiteInterns must be able to work in our Home Office in Birmingham, Alabama from Monday June 1st, 2026 to Friday July 31st, 2026
