Production Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Production Supervisor to lead shift operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and team performance. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, maintaining high product standards, and driving productivity through effective supervision and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, and optimizing shift performance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensure crew members follow all safety protocols and plant policies Hold employees accountable for quality and performance standards; provide coaching as needed Serve as a problem solver and key communicator between crews and management Coordinate job priorities, workflow, crew assignments, and material movement Monitor staffing, workflow, and material levels to meet shift demands Support employee training and development initiatives Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the plant Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Area Manager   POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to drive change. Ability to effectively use oral and written communication skills to represent the needs of employees and management. Ability to utilize information from multiple sources to maintain productivity. Previous experience leading people in a box plant, printing operation, converting operation or paper mill is preferred. Must be able to improve working conditions (safety, quality, productivity, cost) SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: • Associates degree (or equivalent experience) in business, management or supervision desired Experience:  • 1-3 years of demonstrated leadership experience and 3 - 5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred. Computer Skills: • Experience with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Windows based programs. Familiarity with business management programs (KIWI, SAP, etc.) a plus.
