Apply Today!Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Lead Certified Endoscopy Tech, under the direction of the Director of Nursing, you will help coordinate the daily workflow and GI/Endo program. You are responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results. You will be responsible for orientation, competencies of your staff, technician staff scheduling, patient scheduling, quality improvement and process improvements.What you will do in this role:Perform Endoscopy procedures and diagnostic testsYou will be responsible for performance improvement activitiesYou will manage inventory/supplies, charge entry data and reconciliationYou will demonstrate knowledge related to maintenance, cleanliness, and sterilization/disinfection of instruments and equipmentYou will maintains a sanitary environment for the provision of patient careYou will preparing the endoscopy unit adequately and ensuring availability of necessary GI equipment and suppliesYou will verify proper functioning of equipment prior to your procedures and report malfunctioning equipment immediately to nurse managerQualifications you will need:Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred3 years of experience required, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center environmentEndoscopy Reprocessing Certification requiredValid BCLS Certification upon employment***Must be from the American Heart Association & online certification not acceptable Rose Surgical Center is located east of downtown Denver, Colorado.
