Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 6 months within the past 4 years. • 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • COVID booster required after submission. Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period (days - Sat, Sun, nights - Fri, Sat). One major and minor holiday. Required Skills/Experience: Requires tele experience. Must be able to read strips & due to floating to tele units, must be able to titrate down only: Amio & Cardizem. Required Credentials: Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer. If they fail, they will be made a DNU for 6 months for both CSH AZ and CSH Sac regions. There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation. If they fail, they will be made a DNU for 6 months. Types of Patients on Unit: 80% Surgical, 20% Oncology. Ortho - JHACO certified knee and hip program. 8-10 elective knee/hips per week. Other - Urological, Abdominal, Whipple, Women’s surgeries (no OBGyn). Unit/Facility Details: Beds: 32 beds.
