This position ensures that deliveries are completed on time while maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism. The helper is responsible for handling packages with care, navigating delivery routes, and communicating effectively with customers and team members. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, the Delivery Driver Helper contributes to the overall success of the delivery operation by ensuring that products reach customers in excellent condition and on schedule.Minimum Qualifications:Ability to lift and carry heavy packages up to 50 pounds safely.Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in delivery, warehouse, or logistics roles.Familiarity with safety protocols related to loading and unloading goods.Basic mechanical skills to assist with minor vehicle maintenance or troubleshooting.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities:Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading carts and goods safely and efficiently.Support the driver in navigating delivery routes and ensuring timely deliveries to customers.Communicate courteously and professionally with customers during deliveries to provide excellent service.Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and equipment.Report any delivery issues, damages, or discrepancies to the driver or management promptly.Skills:The required skills such as physical stamina and safe lifting techniques are essential for handling carts and assisting with loading and unloading tasks daily.
