Description The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos currently has an opening for a RedHat Enterprise Linux Engineer to work in our Orlando, Florida office.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Test team within the Digital Infrastructure Network Integration Lab (DI-NIL) will be responsible for maintaining the DI-NIL architecture and services. There are levels of support needed throughout to include RHEL  layout and configuration to include structure and compliance configurations, integration with Active Directory for authentication, as well as day-to-day management and review of the architecture.The DI-NIL support effort will also include working with customers to ensure the needed environment is configured properly and access has been configured to allow a least privilege concept during stakeholder activities within the environment.Full documentation of builds and configurations utilized within the environment are mandatory as well as process flow documentation to ensure all required tasks are documented and repeatable.High level tasking for this team will include the following:Build and configure the RHEL architecture to support access and authentication within the DI-NIL environmentConfigure Windows based authentication to work with RedHat Linux and other systems within the environment for utilizing AD for authenticationManage day-to-day operations of the RHEL architecture as well as review logs for potential issuesReport and record all issues within the approved ticketing system to allow for bug/defect management and correctionWork with stakeholders to understand access and authentication requirements for test environments being built within the DI-NIL spaceWork with other team members to ensure all IA compliance actions are completed on time and are reported correctlyInterface with vendors and facilitate integration into a larger system-of-systems modelIdentify test methodology to verify and validate systems efficiently to include regression testing, pass/fail, and deficiency remediationFacilitate working groups and information exchange in support of program objectivesSupport the development and maintenance of system integration plans and system test plansBuild and support a culture grounded in the Leidos values, beliefs and expectations and highest standards of ethical and respectful behaviorBasic QualificationsMust possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearanceBachelor’s degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or master’s degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience or demonstratable years of experience as a Subject Matter ExpertDemonstrable knowledge of Unix system concepts and applying these concepts to Department of Defense programsDemonstrable experience in design review participation and providing customer centric inputStrong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems.Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experienceDemonstrated experience with Agile program execution and using agile tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence)Mid-level network understandingMid-level understanding of government systems security testing (ACAS/Nessus) and remediation – ability to discuss security issues and concernsDemonstrated ability to brief technical and non-technical customersAbility to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction and maintain Leidos positive brand recognitionPreferred Qualifications Prior experience working on ABMS or JADC2 initiativesMinimum of 4 years of government, system’s security testing (ACAS/Nessus) and remediation with the ability to discuss security issues and concernsPrior experience designing and deploying networksPrior experience with SAFe Agile implementationPrior experience support Department of the Air Force programsPrevious experience working on complex multi-domain systemsExperience with design and validation of Cloud and Edge Computing and NetworkDemonstrable knowledge in test automation and test result analysisDemonstrable experience in network topologies to validate functionality, performance, stability and scalability of features and products.Proven expertise in creating test methodologies and writing test specificationsExperience in Integration, test, verification, and validationIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
