Ensures equipment is maintained in an energy efficient, safe manner while minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance and repair. Performs comprehensive inspections and repairs to property interior and exterior areas, including structural components, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting systems.Your day-to-day tasks will include:• Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems, equipment, and components • Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior/exterior components• Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations• Respond effectively to all building emergencies and after-hours activities as required• Prepare and submit management summary reports listing found conditions and recommend corrective actions• Study and maintain familiarity with building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and other building-related equipment• Comply with all safety procedures while maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas, recognizing and proposing methods to eliminate hazardsPhysical Demands and Work Environment:• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.• Must be able to climb up to 30 ft. ladders• Ability to perform on-call duties and overtime as required• Mobile position requiring travel between facilitiesRequired Qualifications:• Universal EPA 608 Certification• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering• Strong background in technical aspects of packaged HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair and maintenance• Valid state driver's license (must possess and maintain)• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders• Availability for on-call duties and overtime work• Compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, and LawsPreferred Qualifications:• Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and application• Experience managing work orders and utilizing CMMS technology• Experience working in a service-related role specific to commercial facilities• Familiarity with building automation systems and fire/life safety systems• Experience with emergency response procedures in commercial environments• Background in energy efficiency and sustainability practices• Previous experience in mobile/multi-site maintenance rolesLocation: Onsite, supporting the Lansing, MI market.Work Shift: Day shift #HVACjobsLocation:On-site –Lansing, MIIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet all the requirements.  We’re interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the table!Personalized benefits that support personal well-being and growth:JLL recognizes the impact that the workplace can have on your wellness, so we offer a supportive culture and comprehensive benefits package that prioritizes mental, physical and emotional health.
