This role is critical in ensuring supply continuity, driving cost efficiencies, and supporting innovation across our North American manufacturing network.What You’ll Work OnLead sourcing and procurement activities for blow molding, including supplier selection, contracting, and performance management.Drive cost reduction initiatives by optimizing the supply chain and identifying process improvements.Ensure continuity of supply by managing supplier capacity, raw material risks, and delivery performance.Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with short- and long-term business goals.Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier agreements (MSAs, CDAs, amendments, etc.).Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Quality, Engineering, and Operations.Monitor and report on supplier KPIs and develop capacity expansion business cases.Serve as a subject matter expert in blow molding procurement and market trends.Support compliance with corporate and divisional procurement policies.Approve purchase orders up to $1,000,000.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, operations, or supply chain management.Strong project management and problem-solving skills.Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management abilities.Proficiency in spreadsheet tools and data analysis.Ability to develop and execute actionable implementation plans.Preferred QualificationsCPSM, CPM, PMP, or similar professional certifications.Technical knowledge of the plastics industry, particularly blow molding.Experience managing supplier capacity and performance metrics.Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.Experience working in a matrixed, global organization.Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
