Job DescriptionHospitality and Special Events Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations during a PGA-sanctioned golf tournament. This includes managing vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality guest experiences, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and coordinating logistics for concessions and hospitality areas.Job ResponsibilitiesVendor ManagementSelect, contract, and manage food and beverage vendors.Ensure vendors meet quality, service, and compliance standards.Coordinate vendor setup, operations, and teardown.Operational OversightDevelop and execute a comprehensive food and concessions plan.Oversee layout and logistics of concession stands, hospitality tents, and VIP areas.Monitor inventory, staffing, and service levels throughout the event.Budget & Financial ManagementManage food and beverage budgets, including forecasting and cost control.Track revenue and expenses, and provide post-event financial reporting.Guest ExperienceEnsure a high-quality, consistent culinary experience for all attendees.Address customer service issues and implement improvements as needed.Compliance & SafetyEnsure all food operations comply with local health codes and PGA standards.Coordinate with security and safety teams to maintain a safe environment.Team LeadershipSupervise on-site food service staff and volunteers.Provide training and support to ensure smooth operations.Stakeholder CommunicationServe as the primary point of contact for food-related inquiries.Collaborate with tournament leadership, sponsors, and hospitality partners.Qualifications7+ years of experience in large-scale event food service or hospitality managementStrong knowledge of food safety regulations and vendor operationsExcellent organizational and leadership skillsAbility to manage budgets and vendor contractsExperience working in high-pressure, fast-paced environmentsStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesPrior experience with PGA or similar sporting events preferredEducationAbout AramarkOur MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.At Aramark, we believe that every employee should enjoy equal employment opportunity and be free to participate in all aspects of the company.
