Director of Maintenance

Warren Center is hiring a Director of Maintenance in Queensbury, NY! Duties Include:Responsible for all maintenance department operations & personnelRegular inspections of the facility, for safety, upkeep, appearance & equipment performanceSupervise and assign maintenance staff responsibilities and schedulesSchedule & ensure completion of all maintenance & repairsProvide oversight of maintenance/repairs & ensure contracted services are completed in a timely fashionMaintains records of all repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties, and inspectionsCoordinating department operations, budgets, and monitoring expendituresEnsure all maintenance work is in accordance with State/Federal & OSHA standardsMust have the ability to be “on-call” for emergency situationsRequirements:5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electric, carpentry & general maintenancePrior supervisory experience in a Healthcare maintenance settingMinimum of a high school diploma or equivalentStrong work ethic, intense drive, initiative for quality serviceSolid computer skills; working knowledge of MS OfficeAbility to multi-task / stay on task & maintain focus in stressful situationsEvidence of solid leadership and supervision skills About us:Warren Center is an eighty-bed skilled nursing facility located at 42 Gurney Lane. Our facility provides a wide spectrum of nursing care to the residents of Warren County. We provide short-term rehabilitation services to people who cannot immediately return to their homes because of an accident or illness. We also provide long-term care for individuals who are unable to care for themselves. We look at each person from an individual perspective. We then utilize a team approach working with the residents and their families to develop a unique plan of care to meet their needs.
