Senior Software Engineer

MANTECH seeks a highly experienced and mission-focused Senior Software Engineer to join our CNO team in Hanover, MD. As a Senior Software Engineer on our team, you will play a key role in developing advanced CNO capabilities that directly support national security. You’ll work in a collaborative environment focused on solving complex technical challenges in support of our customer’s most critical missions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Design and develop new hardware- or software-based CNO capabilitiesIndependently contribute to the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of applications software and systemsApply knowledge of security concepts and network technologiesEnsure software engineering standards are consistently met Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma and 11+ years of technical work experience, orBS Degree in a technical discipline and 7+ years of technical work experienceExperience in Python or C/C++ programmingExperience with troubleshooting and debugging complex systemsExperience with networking (TCP/IP) and socket-level programming Preferred Qualifications:Experience developing CNO capabilitiesExperience in software analysis or reverse engineeringExperience in low-level internals in one or more platforms (e.g., Windows, Unix, mobile, or network devices)Experience with unit testing and test automationUnderstanding of assembly programming conceptsFamiliarity with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Crucible Clearance Requirements:Active/current TS/SCI with ability to obtain a polygraph is required Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
