As an entry level maintenance position, the incumbent works closely with Maintenance Tech II and III positions to develop the knowledge and skills required to complete daily maintenance and operations for of all electrical, HVAC, mechanical and plumbing equipment throughout all buildings managed by corporate facilities at all locations. Position Location: This position requires daily in-office presence. What you do: Checks and assists in the required or requested repairs for all electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing equipment; including monitoring the building temperature; to maintain ongoing business operations. Assists in completing monthly cleaning, filter changing and lubrication on all equipment, grounds maintenance, snow removal, and completing preventative maintenance work. Monitors equipment status as needed to ensure correct operating parameters. Repairs, installs, or moves workstation furniture and equipment whenever required; sets up meeting and conference rooms daily. Distributes and collects recycling containers from various departments. Takes monthly electric, gas, and water meter readings. Completes various tasks including welding, soldering, and painting of equipment/floors/pipes. What you bring: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience is required. High level of mechanical aptitude is required. Experience in snow removal, electrical, HVAC, or plumbing is preferred.
