What you will do:Do you have HVAC experience? We are looking for HVAC systems service technicians who have experience in light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets to join our team and work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge air handling equipment.We will equip you with safety requirements, tools (additional certifications, as needed) and a vehicle to perform your job at the highest standard.Under minimal supervision and/or leadership direction, you will work on the truck-based team, providing complete solutions to the clients’ application needs and in addition, provide routine and complex periodic service, and inspections on Mechanical HVAC equipment and building systems at customer sites, regardless of the size or location of the HVAC mechanical air handling equipment being worked on.Responsibilities for the Service Technician:Install and supervise new Johnson Controls HVAC equipment (Air Handlers)Service and testing of existing HVAC equipment (non JCI included)Perform complex maintenance and serviceTroubleshooting, diagnose problems and provide solutions on total building systemsExplain and educate customers on the appropriate use and operation of their HVAC equipmentDocumentation of work performed, generating work orders and job reportsLead other JCI servicemen at the customer site and act as the JCI liaison with the customerWhat we look for:RequiredAssociate degree or vocational certificate program and ten (10) years actual, practical working experience in the HVAC plumbing, pipefitting and/or mechanical equipment service industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.In the absence of Associate degree, high school diploma or GEDAbility to travel up to 100% of the work weekTypical travel days are Monday and Friday, on-site Wednesday through ThursdayAdvanced working knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning operating parameters with a strong foundation in electrical, controls, and refrigeration troubleshootingValid driver’s licenseBasic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office programsThe ideal candidate will have the ability to work alone but also well with others (Customers, team members) etc.Ability to work overtime as neededPreferred12+ years of HVAC mechanical experienceCurrently possess or have the ability to obtain a Valid Passport for international travel.
