You will be instrumental in driving strategic financial planning, analysis, and accounting support, directly impacting growth, profitability, and operational excellence across a worldwide enterprise. **About the Opportunity** As a pivotal member of the finance team, you will lead the charge in financial planning, analysis, and accounting support for a significant global equipment business. You will empower leadership with critical financial insights, drive strategic decision-making, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within your team and across the organization. This role offers the chance to lead a global team, innovate financial processes, and directly influence the success of advanced industrial solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of financial professionals, including project accountants, cost accountants, and financial analysts, supporting manufacturing operations. * Drive comprehensive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, encompassing forecasting, budgeting, and robust reporting for intricate global revenue streams and long-term projects. * Present compelling monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results and forecasts to senior leadership, delivering clear insights and actionable strategic recommendations. * Collaborate strategically with Operations and Regional leadership to develop annual financial plans, refine forecast adjustments, and conduct in-depth profitability analyses across diverse product lines and geographical regions. * Oversee meticulous project accounting for percentage-of-completion contracts, guaranteeing accurate revenue recognition and stringent financial controls. * Leverage data-driven analytics and advanced scenario modeling to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing profitability, optimizing costs, and significantly improving operational efficiency. * Provide critical support for internal and external audit processes, ensuring unwavering compliance with all financial policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. * Champion initiatives focused on elevating the accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of all financial reporting. * Implement and continuously enhance financial processes, tools, and systems to streamline forecasting, project tracking, and performance measurement. * Collaborate effectively on cross-functional special projects, offering crucial financial leadership and insights to inform strategic decision-making. **Must-Have Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. * 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and/or financial planning & analysis (FP&A). * Demonstrated expertise in US GAAP, coupled with a solid understanding of financial controls and compliance. * Proven track record of consistently delivering results and effectively partnering with stakeholders across all organizational levels. * Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). * Strong commitment to meeting deadlines, exceeding customer requirements, and aligning with organizational priorities. * Experience leading process improvement initiatives, including leveraging automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power Query) to enhance efficiency and accuracy. **Nice-to-Have Qualifications:** * CPA and/or MBA. * Experience with financial management systems such as Hyperion Financial Management and/or Oracle. **About Aquent Talent:** Aquent Talent connects the best talent in marketing, creative, and design with the world’s biggest brands.
