Mechanical Technician

Our client, a leader in building maintenance and facility management, is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join their team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Mechanical Technician Location:Burnsville, MN What's the Job? Perform maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and assets to ensure optimal operation. Manage and maintain spare and replacement parts inventories for efficient repairs. Support manufacturing process equipment, including pumps, motors, hydraulics, and process systems. Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure safety compliance. Assist with building automation and utility systems, including HVAC/R, temperature, and pressure controls. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED equivalent. Completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable. Minimum of one year of applicable experience in building repair, maintenance, plumbing, or electrical work.
