PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONImplements the contract management process to ensure that work is completed safely, with high quality, while adhering to job schedule and budget according to contract requirements and power plant processes and systems. Responsible for management and oversight of onsite contractors. Ensures that all Constellation Power requirements such as Fitness for Duty (FFD) and specific job training are met prior to the contractor starting work. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESCoordinate all contractor site work activities.Acts as official liaison with contractor representatives utilizing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Coordinate the development of bid specifications with input from technical users and buyers.Issues change orders as appropriate.Understands contract requirementsAnalyze problems and situations, identify areas for improvement and determine appropriate corrective actions.Provides feedback on contractor performance.All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in engineering or business with 5 years related experience ORAssociate's degree in engineering or business with 7 years related experience ORHigh school diploma/GED with 9 years related experienceExperience with contractor, contract and supply managementMaintain minimum access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree in technical discipline or business administrationProject Management Institute (PMI) certificationAS9 and maximo experience preferred3 years of supervisory/management experienceStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applicationsPower plant experience
