Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 10 months of Intensive Care Unit experience. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. • Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months Requirements: • Candidates must have a California license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • 6 months between Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Required Skills/Experience: Required Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, GI surgery, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, IV insulin protocols, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit Preferred Skills: Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Chemotherapy Administration, External ventricular drain (EVD), ICP monitoring, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, ECMO, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR), Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Sheath Removal, Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR), Phlebotomy Preferred Skills/Experience: Trauma Level I Experience Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years Background Policy to be noted prior to submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. Block Schedules: No, Per manager discretion Shift & Scheduling: Weekends will likely exceed every other to meet unit needs Floating Requirements: Float within scope to meet facility needs, including lower acuity units. All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by. Might have to float to Mission Viejo or Mission Laguna Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: Please request an interview for one match from this facility at a time.
