Data Center Inventory & Asset Lead

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data center industry, is seeking a Data Center Inventory & Asset Lead to join their team. As a Data Center Inventory & Asset Lead, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Data Center Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Data Center Inventory & Asset Lead Mount Pleasant, WI Pay: $35-40/hr W2 Ongoing Contract What's the Job? Support critical inventory, logistics, and asset management functions within a data center environment. Provide technical guidance to a team of technicians, ensuring accurate handling, documentation, and movement of equipment and materials. Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, manage data-bearing device destruction, and maintain compliance with safety and operational standards. Mentor technicians through on-the-job instruction, model professionalism, and facilitate engagement through technical lessons and shadowing. Promote operational excellence by streamlining workflows and ensuring safety practices are followed daily. What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years of experience in a 24x7x365 data center environment. Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations in a technology or warehouse setting. Over 1 year of supervisory or lead experience. Ability to meet security requirements, including background checks and compliance with client and government standards. What's in it for me?
