We are proud to offer an extensive and iconic portfolio of highly recognizable, sustainably sourced, and conveniently packaged branded beverages distributed across more than 150,000 retail outlets. Factory Location: Woodridge, ILCompensation: $32.00 / hour Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours workedSchedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, Monday - FridayAbility to work holidays and weekends per business needs Responsibilities: Safely operate a semi-trailer/tractor unit with gross vehicle of 100,000 lbs in the timely pick-up and delivery of bulk water from spring sites to company bottlings plantsLoad and unload tanker truck safelyAct as a team player by supporting the team with decisions and helping others when neededPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicleAdhere to all traffic laws and regulationsCommunicate effectively with dispatchers and plant personnelComplete all DOT required documents and reports following required laws and standardsEnsure compliance with Federal, State, Local, and company operating requirementsFollow company water quality testing proceduresMaintain a clean and safe vehicleMaintain accurate driving logs, inventory, and recordsOperate forklift safely to unload and reload trailer with company products. Be courteous, outgoing, and always maintain a professional imageProtect company assets by securing product loads before and during transportUnderstand and maintain load and freight weight requirements.Other duties as assigned by Regional Transportation Manager Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experienceMust be 21 years of age or older (DOT requirement)Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Tanker endorsement required at the time of hire1 -2 years commercial tanker driving experience, minimum 100,000 pound GVW preferredClean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR): Only one license held, no DUI/DWI, refusal to test, leaving the scene of an accident, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal accidents, driving-related suspensions, revocations, or cancellations; disqualifying offenses; or reckless driving incidentsAbility to read and interpret information such driving routes, safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to sit, stand, push, pull, climb ladders, walk all day, and move/lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to work independently, efficiently, and in several types of weatherEffective communication skills and the ability to work independentlyExperience operating a sit-down forklift and/or pallet jack preferred Candidates must possess strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service. Proficiency in English is essential for understanding customer needs, resolving inquiries, and collaborating with team members.
