IT Support Analyst

Immediate need for a talented IT Support Analyst. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Enon, OH (Hybrid). Key Responsibilities:Directs field personnel in installing new payment terminal equipment and related hardware and softwareProvides accurate verbal instruction for diagnostics or installation as neededConfigures and upgrades software on newly installed devicesIdentifies and corrects issues before a location is aware of a problemManages multiple tickets and working them in order of priorityCompletes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by ManagementKey Requirements and Technology Experience: Skills-IT Support, Software and Hardware, Experience working with Fuel Controller, Pumps, and CRINDs, Payments/CreditBachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work ExperienceMIS or Computer ScienceMinimum of 3 years working with POS systems.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.High level of organizationExperience maintaining and enhancing a Point-of-Sale system.Familiarity with POS data and functions; items, barcode, sales, voids, promotions, specials, discounts, methods of payment, electronic journaling, taxes, etc.Test new hardware and software and recommend changes as needed.Responsible for providing advanced support on escalated calls from Store Support relating to hardware and/or software issues.Must be extremely organized and motivated.Must work with a sense of urgency.Work extremely effectively in a team environment.Strong verbal communication skills.Strong written communication skills.Must have a passion for quality control.Experience with POS systems.Experience with Gilbarco/Wayne Pumps and CRINDs.Our client is a leading retail Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
