Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 4 years. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. • Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months Requirements: • Candidates must have a Mississippi license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Required Skills and Experience: Manager will teach clinician how to administer CHEMO - can be a great learning opportunity. Experience at a larger facility with a lot of surgeries/high acuity patients. Preferred Skills and Experience: Must be comfortable with lines, chest tubes, hem/onc and chemo experience preferred Preferred Credentials: ONC cert NOT required but would love candidates with experience. Shift & Scheduling Requirements: Travelers are expected to fill holes, but managers will try to accommodate block scheduling as schedule allows, open to weekenders if traveler would like to work every weekend but that is not required. Weekend Requirement: every other or 2 weekends per month is standard, could be higher to meet needs of department.
