Operating Engineer (PM Use Only)

Our client, a leader in commercial real estate, is seeking an Operating Engineer to join their team. As an Operating Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting two Medical Building Teams in downtown Baltimore. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, which will align successfully in the organization.   Job Title: Operating Engineer Location: Baltimore, Maryland Pay Range: $28/hr. - $30/hr.   What’s the Job? Complete maintenance and repair tasks including painting, pressure washing, plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, locksmith work, and general building upkeep Maintain the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and address tenant service requests Perform preventive maintenance and inspection of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems Troubleshoot building systems including electrical, DDC, and pneumatic controls Support emergency and on-call response situations as needed   What’s Needed? Minimum 3 years of related experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry Universal CFC EPA certification or willingness to obtain within the first year (with support from JLL) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, comfortable working on ladders up to 30 feet, and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and driving.   What’s in it for me?
