Invitation Homes is a place where possibility lives.The Yardi Product Manager is responsible for leading product development efforts across Yardi Financial Systems intended to solve critical pain points for both our customers and our associates.  They deeply understand the organization’s business model, how their assigned products impact the day-to-day operations, and work with functional leaders to identify opportunities to evolve, transform, and optimize both.  They also understand the competitive landscape of their products as well as their relative position among the pack.  The Product Manager has the unique responsibility to span all functional areas of the company to ensure our technology platforms are providing the right level of support for successful business operation.  They lead product development teams to build the right solution at the right time while balancing cost, risk, speed, intuition, and future need.  Invitation Homes does not offer employment-based visa sponsorship for this role at this time.What You’ll Do Establish and constantly foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure clear and direct communication around short-term product effortsBuild and continually maintain a 4-6 week sprint backlog that supports the digital product roadmap, preparing user stories and bugs with appropriate requirements and acceptance criteria for the engineering and testing teamsPartner with product designers in the creation of user-interface artifactsPartner with software engineers to gain a high-level understanding of the technology integrations that enable the product capabilities within their domainPartner with internal stakeholders to establish good working knowledge of the operational processes in the IH landscape that may be impacted with each new product development effortDrive a cross-functional software development team to deliver on technology commitmentsConstantly prioritize user stories; balance feature development, defects, and tech debt according to company prioritiesPerform user acceptance testing for completed stories and bugsOrchestrate product review sessions with stakeholders; gracefully accept feedback and maintain flexibility as product requirements and priorities evolveGenerate release and knowledge base documentationPartner on field training activities where neededServe as a resource for the production support team to investigate and resolve product defectsWho We’re Looking For 4+ years of experience in a product management roleBachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in real estate, travel, or retail preferredExperience with Agile/Scrum software deliveryExperience with Yardi requiredCertified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferredGood business and technical acumenAbility to communicate complex information in simple terms to a wide variety of audiencesGood written and oral communication skills and an ability to work collaborativelyWhy Invitation Homes We stand for flexibility, opportunity, and a home that people can make their own.
