Outside Sales Representative – B2B Sales – Waste Connections – Cleveland, TNAre you a motivated, goal-driven sales professional ready to make an impact in a growing industry? Waste Connections is seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Cleveland, TN market.This role is a high-volume B2B sales opportunity focused on commercial waste removal and disposal services. You’ll manage a mix of new business development and account retention, using a consultative approach to deliver customized solutions to clients in your assigned territory.Key Responsibilities:Sell commercial waste and recycling services to businesses and industrial clientsManage a personal sales territory through cold calling, prospecting, and in-person client visitsDevelop strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for your book of businessPrepare and present customized proposals based on customer needs and waste stream analysisUtilize and maintain Salesforce CRM (ARES) to track leads, opportunities, and follow-upsMonitor contract expiration dates and initiate renewals and upsell opportunitiesWork closely with internal departments including operations and customer service to meet client expectationsAttend networking events, trade shows, and chamber of commerce activities to grow company visibilityStay informed on waste industry trends, services, and pricing models to support customer successOther duties as assignedQualifications:2+ years of B2B or outside sales experience preferredExperience in solid waste, environmental services, or industrial sales is a plusStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsComfortable with cold calling, lead generation, and managing a sales pipelineProficient in using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license requiredBachelor’s degree preferredWhat We Offer:Competitive base salary plus uncapped commissionFull benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and moreGrowth and promotion opportunities in a recession-resistant industrySupportive team culture and sales leadershipA chance to help businesses operate more sustainablyWe offer excellent benefits including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long term disability, life insurance, 401K retirement and unlimited opportunities to "Connect with Your Future".Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
